Powerplants DirectJet: Australian-made Excellence for Greenhouse Crops Fertilising
If you’re a grower in need of greenhouse crops fertilising equipment for different crops, or crops at different stages, The Powerplants DirectJet is an ideal solution for when smaller volumes of different nutrients need to be made. Unlike some mixing tank systems such as the NutriFlex and NutriMix which have a tank needs to be emptied before changing nutrient mixes, the DirectJet has almost no delay when changing from one mix to another. It also has no mixing tank.
How can it be accurate without a mixing tank?
The DirectJet’s motorised proportioning valves provide a constant stream of nutrients from the A & B tanks rather than the pulsing on/off dosing valves found on most other mixing tank systems. Although pulsewidth modulation is very accurate when there is a large volume of water being mixed, DirectJet’s motorised proportioning valves give excellent accuracy when there is no buffer. The motorised valves can also be set by hand for manual fertigation.
How the DirectJet works:
Although it has no mixing tank, the DirectJet is extremely accurate for greenhouse crops fertilising. They feature:
- 6 - 24 m /hr capacities available (6,000 - 24,000 litres per hour) We can supply ideal stock solution tanks and motorised stirrers.
- They are proudly made by Powerplants technicians in our facility in Melbourne
- As with all other mixers, the DirectJet is connected to A & B fertiliser stock solution tanks. These contain soluble fertilisers dissolved in water. The dissolved fertilisers are sucked through motorised proportioning valves, where they are mixed through the pump and pumped to the crop.
- The DirectJet can mix a maximum of five solutions simultaneously, e.g. four fertiliser solutions and one acid/alkaline solution.
- The single or dual EC and pH measurements provide maximum protection and reliability.
- The entire process is controlled via your process computer, for example, either the Priva Maximizer or Intégro. Because there is no mixing tank, the changes in recipes are almost instant.
The DirectJet features an aluminium frame, stainless steel Lowara Pump, pressure gauges, injection flowmeters, manual over-ride switches, filtration of water supply and A & B solutions, Priva EC & pH interface, single or dual EC & pH sensors. We can supply ideal stock solution tanks and motorized stirrers as well as
a high accuracy output flowmeter. All DirectJet greenhouse crops fertiliser equipment is proudly made by Powerplants technicians in Melbourne.
