Recently our own Jeroen van Loon discovered the answer to a few common issues many users have recently experienced with the Maximizer/Priva Officesystem. For those who’ve had the problem of graphing stopping, but measurements are still showing and being refreshed, or if you’ve had sync errors, then here are the answers:
One common problem occurs when Windows 7 automatically tries to install the program Live Essentials, a suite of free programs for that helps create and share movies, photos, organize your e mail, etc. However, once downloaded it is not compatible with Priva. If you’ve downloaded the program or it was part of a download, remove it and don’t download it again.
Also, if you’ve had sync error messages, a common issue is automatic synchronisation of the clock with the Maximizer through Priva Office. This should only ever be used via pages i1 or i11, depending on the Maximizer version. Do not try to sync by going through General Priva Office configuration Time sync settings—this is Integro/Connext only. If you do this with a Maximizer you will have nothing but sync error messages. If you have any issues or questions, feel free to contact your Powerplant Technician.
One other tip from Jeroen, a reminder that Internet Explorer 9 has been released but has not been tested yet. Don’t install it until Priva has performed the appropriate testing.
